ok first of all, i LOVE the cover art. really caught my eye. i know it's a small thing but it legit made this game stand out a lot.
now that that's out of the way, i really liked this!
it was really cool to see elements of thai culture incorporated into the story. made everything feel really interesting with concepts that i haven't really seen in any games prior. i liked the characters too, and loved how the game gives you enough info to know what happened, while also leaving a lot of the mystery open by the end. it really made me feel as confused as the main character, which was great! and while like other commenters have said, some of the english was a little rough, i understood pretty much everything so it wasn't a big deal.
the visuals were really neat as well!! the tileset mixing original art with default assets felt very seamless. and the character portraits were really expressive and nice, definitely a feat considering how simple they are! :D though sometimes i noticed a character's picture appearing when the text was just a description, or a character saying something and then a text saying the same thing. it wasn't horrible and i could follow everything well, but i thought it'd mention it.
(SPOILERS) i got bad endings 1 & 2, and good ending 1, and i feel like parts of each run were a little hard to figure out. i think i solved the shelves puzzle out of sheer luck lol. and i don't think i would've thought of using the mystery box in my inventory on my first playthrough. oh, but i loved figuring out the password! it wasn't too hard or too easy and it made me feel smart haha.
all in all, this was a pretty neat game with an intriguing story and fun characters, and i hope you guys keep making games cuz you clearly have a lot of talent!! :>
This is a beautiful game, the music is chill, had a good time trying it out. Great game!
